Please join us in supporting our equine friends.

As an active board of director for Healing Acres Equine Retirement Ranch, I would like to encourage our visitors to take a moment and browse http://www.healingacres.com/.

Don't forget to check out
The 10 Commitments: Parenting with Purpose by authors Chick Moorman and Thomas Haller. One dollar from the sale of every The 10 Commitments: Parenting with Purpose book goes to Healing Acres, a rescue and retirement facility for horses. It is a place where adults and children find joy, sadness, healing, and a sense of purpose through providing attention and care to unwanted horses. It is a place where older horses can receive the care they so richly deserve after years of devoted service.

Our congratulations goes out to Mariah Lang and Gard Your Spades on their success during the 2005 show season. Mariah has qualified Ace for the 2006 Regionals in PB Country Pleasure AOTR and PB Native Costume Open. They are qualified for Region 13 and 18. We wish them the best of luck in 2006!

We would also like to congratulate Chick Moorman on his first class "A" ribbon. Chick took a fifth place at the Michigan Fall Classic Show with his Arabian gelding Spartan SA in the competitive PB Western Pleasure division. Chick purchased Spartan and took his first ride when he was 55 years old. Go Chick!
